    My little ones are 9 months and 2 years-so these books would be great for them! As far as a favorite summer read, I’d have to say they like just about anything they can get their hands on! (My 2 year old would have me reading all day if she could :) )

    I don’t get the chance to read grown up books very often, but my 18 month old daughter LOVES to read. She is always bringing me books..mostly Dr. Seuss “The Thinks you can Think.” It never gets old to her.

  36. We are always reading in my house, right now my 6 year old favorites are the Junie B. Jones series, and my 4 year old loves anything Curious George or Clifford. This would be a great prize since the county closed the library that was around the corner from where we live.

  37. As a teacher, I know the value of Scholastic books! This looks like a great assortment for my little one – he loves books! A favorite that I just finished myself is “Queen Esther and the 2nd Graders of Doom.” Esther is the mother of an infant boy and teacher of 2nd grade boys in Sunday school. It was fun to read about her going through many of the same mothering issues I face.
